Minoxidil is a clinically proven treatment that works to help reverse miniaturisation and stimulate new hair growth in those suffering from androgenetic alopecia – also known as hereditary hair loss.
Initially used as an oral treatment, researchers eventually discovered that Minoxidil would be a more effective hair loss treatment if applied topically, in the form of a liquid solution. Minoxidil is a vasodilator which means it can work to widen blood vessels inside the body.
